About

Anchordown is mission-driven social enterprise helping organisations and communities prevent and respond to the growth of disinformation, online harm and polarisation.

We offer sliding-scale pricing for charities and NGOs and free resources.

Anchordown is run by Nicole Skews-Poole in collaboration with researchers and subject matter experts.

Nicole is a longtime communications lead who specialises in countering disinformation. After helping steer some of the first disinformation targeting of the public sector during COVID-19, she then worked as the Director of Communications for research group The Disinformation Project.

She is part of the Christchurch Call Advisory Network (CCAN), a registered member of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) and the Facilitators Network NZ.
